They are approx. 12" tall and feature lots of detail, from their artists shading to the deep soulful eyes drawn with artists pencils, each doll has a personality of it's own. Sanded, stained, and antiqued to replicate age, these little Sunflower Gals have the vintage look of a much loved doll with a little bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure! I used various colors of hand dyed spun sheeps wool for their little "tuft" hair which has been needle felted. They each have cute little dresses with matching pantaloons. Each doll has been finished a little differently. If you can find room in your heart and a place in your home, these sweet little "Bloomers" would love to be part of your family! And Bumble Bees are all the buzzzzz! This cute little bumble bee shelf sitter measures 10" long and 6" tall. Perfect to display on a window sill, shelf, counter or prim hutch! Three dimensional and can sit all by itself. The body has been painted and shaded and has sculpted tea dyed muslin wings. The face has been painted and shaded and has eyes that are drawn with artists pencils and have grungy muslin lidded eyes. His antennea have been fashioned with curly wire and I have given him a little tuft of sheeps wool hair. This is a one of a kind creation and served as the prototype for the pattern and jacket cover. "Primitive Garden Crow Doll" This is for extreme primitive lovers only! This is a 16" tall grungy garden crow and her little prim inch worm and dragonfly wand. The garden crow has artist drawn, lidded eyes and sculpted beak. She has bendable wings and little "claw" feet. A deep green homespun dress bodice and chocolate colored skirting that features prim crows and star flowers with two vintage buttons complete her oufit. Her pantaloons are cranberry ticking. Her little inch worm friend is approx 7" long and has artist drawn eyes, twirly wire antennae and a little tuft of hair. I added a little prim heart for its tummy. My Gardening Crow has a grungy prim Dragonfly Wand. The 7" tall dragonfly also has artist drawn eyes, wire antennea, wool hair and a heart stitched to his tummy. Sculpted muslin wings completes the dragonfly. Tons of work and detail with this offering. This is a one of a kind doll and was the prototype for the pattern and jacket cover. "Primitive Bumble Bee and Hive Doll" This is a 16 1/2" tall (to the top of his antennea) grungy, primitive, AWESOME bumble bee and his very own hive and handcrafted tulip. This is a simply wonderful doll with tons of detail. He has primitive "penny rug" stitched eyes and a pinch stitched face! On the top of his head are stick antennea with rusty bells attached to the tips. He also has a rusty bell necklace. The beautiful quilted type dimensional wings are gorgeous. His overalls are dark green featuring black willow trees with two vintage buttons. His little bee hive is approx 8" tall and features two prim bees (one attached to the top of the hive with twirly wire and one at the bottom of the hive. A prim green heart has been fixed to the front! Cradled in his arm is is very own prim tulip. I have added a matching heart to the front of the tulip and another prim bee on the stem. "Lucky" This cute little Saint Patricks Day doll measures approx. 14" tall. Her name is "Lucky". She is not a four leaf clover, but she is lucky none the less!!!! Her face has been stitched with DMC floss, and she has two black button eyes and rosy blushed cheeks. She has on a dark navy homespun dress that features prim sunflowers and crows, with a big old matching hair bow. Dark green homespun pantaloons are underneath. She is weighted, so she sits nicely!
